Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Invokwik. They outline your rights and responsibilities when using our platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Invokwik ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Invokwik. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
2. Description of Service
Invokwik is a web-based invoicing platform designed for freelancers, consultants, and small businesses. The Service allows you to:
- Create, manage, and send professional invoices and receipts
- Manage client and sender information
- Design and customise invoice templates
- Set up recurring invoice schedules
- Send documents via email with PDF attachments
- Access a REST API for integration with other tools
- Track usage and billing analytics
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice before removing any core functionality.
3. Accounts and Registration
To use Invokwik, you must create an account with a valid email address and a secure password. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that remain inactive for an extended period. You may invite additional team members to your account; you are responsible for their use of the Service under your account.
4. Payment and Billing
Invokwik is offered as a subscription service at a base price of €5 per month, billed monthly through Stripe.
Free Trial. New accounts receive a 5-day free trial with full access to all features. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not subscribe before the trial ends, your account will enter a read-only state — your data will be preserved, but you will not be able to create new invoices or send emails until you subscribe.
Add-ons. Additional features are available as add-ons to your subscription:
- Extra team seat: €1/month per additional seat
- Additional API key: €1/month per key
- Email sending credits: €1 per 1,000 emails
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.
Payment Failures. If a payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method again over the following days. If payment continues to fail, your account will enter a read-only state until the payment issue is resolved.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Invokwik only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
- Use the Service to send fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading invoices
- Use the Service to harass, spam, or send unsolicited communications
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to it
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service except through the official API
- Resell, sublicence, or redistribute the Service without our written consent
- Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data through the Service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you are violating these terms.
6. Intellectual Property
Our Property. The Invokwik platform, including its design, code, branding, documentation, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Invokwik and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the limited right to use the Service.
Your Content. You retain full ownership of all invoices, receipts, client data, templates, and other content you create using the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We will never use Your Content for any other purpose.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Invokwik shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Invokwik in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting us at support@invokwik.com to request account deletion.
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time if:
- You breach these Terms
- You fail to pay your subscription fees after repeated attempts
- We are required to do so by law
- We discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice)
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination to allow you to export it, after which it will be permanently deleted.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the application at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.
